آیا صوفیہ میں سنگ مر مر کے دائروی تراشے ہوئے پتھروں سے بنی یہ جگہ بازنطینی بادشاہوں کی تاج پوشی کے لیئے مخصوص تھی۔ اس جگہ کو مخصوص اصطلاح میں اومفیلی اون کہا جاتا ہے۔ چرچ کی عباداتی رسومات کے دوران بھی بادشاہ سلامت درمیان والے بڑے دائرے پر ہی تخت افروز ہوا کرتے تھے۔

This place, made of circularly cut stones of marble stones, was specifically designated for the coronation of Byzantine emperors. It's called Omphalion in a specific term. During church ceremonial rituals, the emperor would be enthroned on a raised platform at the center of the large circle.

سیدہ مریم، انکی گود میں ابن مریم کا یہ موزیک ایک ہزار سال سے بھی پرانا ہے۔ آرتھوڈوکس چرچ (آیا صوفیہ) کے اس موزیک میں سیدہ مریم کے قدم ایک پتھر پر ہیں اور وہ ایک تخت پر بیٹھی ہیں۔ ان کی دونوں طرف دو فرشتوں جبرائيل اور میکائیل کے پورٹریٹس بنائے گئے ہیں جنکے ہاتھوں میں قلعہ اور چرچ کی عمارت موجود ہے

The mosaic of the Virgin Mary and Infant Jesus in her lap is over a thousand years old, located in the Hagia Sophia, also known as Ayasofya. In this mosaic, the Virgin Mary's feet are on a pedestal, and she is seated on a throne. Portraits of the archangels Gabriel and Michael are depicted on either side of her, holding in their hands representations of a castle and the church building.

آرتھوڈکس چرچ بازنطینی دورمیں عروج پر تھا۔ یہ آج بھی رومن کیتھولک چرچ (پوپ) سے علیحدہ ہیں اور عقیدہ تثلیث پر رومن کیتھولک چرچ سے مختلف موقف رکھتے ہیں۔ آیا صوفیہ ان میں سے ایک آرتھوڈوکس چرچ تھا۔ وہاں ایک آسٹریلوی نوجوان فیون کولین نے باتوں باتوں میں بتایا کہ آرتھوڈوکس چرچ کی عمارات، رومن کیتھولک چرچ کی عمارات سے بھی مختلف ہوتیں۔ آرتھوڈوکس چرچ کی عمارات عموما کھلی، روشن دار اور شوخ رنگوں سے مزین ہوتیں اور یہ وکٹیورین اور گوتھک طرز تعمیر کی بجائے گنبدوں کے ساتھ تعمیر ہوتیں۔ ترکی کی مساجد میں بازنطینی چرچ کا انداز (گنبد) آج بھی

مستعمل ہے۔

The Orthodox Church was prominent during the Byzantine era and remains separate from the Roman Catholic Church (the Pope) today, holding different positions on the doctrine of the Trinity compared to the Roman Catholic Church. An Australian young man named Fionn Cullen shared that the architecture of Orthodox churches differs from that of Roman Catholic churches. Orthodox churches are typically more open, brightly lit, and adorned with vibrant colors. Instead of the Victorian and Gothic styles, they are often constructed with domes. The Byzantine style, including the use of domes, is still prevalent in mosques in Turkey, reflecting their historical heritage.

The Galata Tower (Galata Kulesi in Turkish) is a medieval stone tower in the Galata/Karaköy (Istanbul). One of the city's most striking landmarks, it is a high, cone-capped cylinder that dominates the skyline and offers a panoramic vista of Istanbul's historic peninsula and its environs.
